The 52nd annual conference of the GfÖ will deal with the topic "The Future of Biodiversity - Overcoming Barriers in Taxa, Spheres and Scales".
The aim is to develop strategies for implementing the goals of the Convention on Biological Diversity and to address the challenges for biodiversity in an interdisciplinary and integrative way.
Issues relating to the detection of changes in biodiversity over space and time, the support of ecosystem functions and humans, and the long-term conservation and enhancement of biodiversity will be discussed.
