Managing Impacts and Promoting Solutions
The Conference on Solar energy and Biodiversity (CSB) is an international event dedicated to the interactions between solar energy development and biodiversity.
As the first edition, CSB marks the launch of a newrecurring international forum, held every two years. Building on the experience of similar initiatives such as the Conference on Wind energy and Wildlife impacts (CWW), it aims to bring together researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, and other stakeholders from around the world.
The CSB provides a forum to share knowledge, explore emerging challenges, and develop science-based solutions to better integrate biodiversity considerations into solar energy projects. By fostering dialogue between science, industry, and public stakeholders, CSB seeks to support the sustainable development of solar energy while contributing to biodiversity conservation.
