The aim of the workshop is to advance the implementation of the recommendations of the Eberswalde Declaration and the Lima Action Plan for research in biosphere reserves. It aims to network practitioners in European biosphere reserves and promote the exchange of best practices. The next workshop is intended to drive an active exchange between managers and staff in biosphere reserves who are responsible for research and monitoring in different European biosphere reserves. Discussions are also expected on research progress, gaps and needs, as well as collaboration with research managers and staff from different biosphere reserves. The event is part of a workshop series supported by the German Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN) since 2020. The program will be published soon.
