The German Botanical Society (DBG) organizes an international botany conference every two years, where all plant science disciplines meet in the center of Europe. The meeting thus provides a venue for interdisciplinary exchange, and networking. The members of the DBG meet in the General Assembly and some of the Sections meet as well.
